Obelix Char. Design study

new studies

New study from one of the awesome beaches back in my home. Still trying to get to the edge control without taking too much time to do it. Still not 100% happy with values.


In this second study I invested more time trying to refine the edges, but it take a loong time to do it... still a wip, but I don´t know if I will invest more time on it.

Value and color study

I tried to do it fast, but took me a while... Value study lookig at the original with color... when I finished and turned the saturation to 0% in the original I realized how off I was with the hills tone... but practice makes perfection!
Also more edge control needed.

Characters.
Based on the fable "Three Little Pigs"
Theme: homo homini lupus
Ambient: World war.
Three characters from the same army are trapped in a bunker after an air strike. They are waiting for the rescue ship, but there´s only room for two. The enemy army is coming.
